Meet the Wilsons! Ciara and Russell Wilson made their red carpet debut as a married couple at the 2016 ESPYS on Wednesday, July 13. The “Goodies” singer, 30, and Seattle Seahawks quarterback, 27, looked like the picture-perfect Mr. and Mrs. while posing on the red carpet at Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
Prior to presenting at the awards show, Ciara chatted with ESPN about their July 6 fairy-tale wedding in London.
“There’s too many best parts,” the songstress said. “But the personal moments that we had superseded all of that for me. It was one of the most perfect days in all of my life.”
As previously reported, the Christian couple waited until marriage to have sex.
“So, baby, you know what we’re doing tonight,” Ciara told her hubby in a Snapchat video the day after their wedding night. In the background of the clip, Wilson could be heard confirming that they consummated their marriage by saying, “And what we did last night, I want to do multiple times.”
Ciara stunned during their wedding ceremony in a custom-made Cavalli Couture long-sleeve gown which featured white tulle, floral motifs and delicate glass beading throughout.
The duo, who got engaged in March 2016, exchanged vows before their family and friends, including celebrity pals La La Anthony, Kelly Rowland and Serena Williams.
