Sneaky, and taking their sweet time too! Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin never broke up, in fact, they’ve been together this whole time, multiple sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly.
Despite letting on that they had called it quits this past October, a source tells Us that the Hunger Games star and Coldplay singer have “been together the whole time.”
The couple, who clearly wanted to keep things on the DL, even spent time together around the holidays, dining at Kiwami sushi restaurant in L.A.’s Studio City, on Dec. 30 and ringing in the New Year together at a party in Los Angeles.
“Neither of them wanted to be a public couple so quickly. So they told people they were broken up while they continued to build a relationship,” another insider close to Lawrence tells Us.
The duo are so sneaky, they’ve even developed a way for Gwyneth Paltrow’s ex, 37, to visit Lawrence’s pad unnoticed. “Chris spends the night at her house when he’s in L.A. and they have a system for him to come and go without anyone knowing,” the first source says.
As for Martin’s ex, Goop founder Paltrow, the insider tells Us that Martin has held off on introducing the two Oscar winners for now. “Chris hasn’t wanted them to meet yet,” says the pal of J.Law’s. “Gwyneth and Chris are co-parenting without Jen involved for now.”
But it’s not to say they won’t all be hanging soon. While talking to Howard Stern, Paltrow said of the 24-year-old: “Who says I don’t approve of Jennifer Lawrence? I respect [Martin] as the father of my children…It’s his decision…He wouldn’t be with someone who isn’t great.”
