Crikey, mate! Bindi Irwin is ecstatic about her new Us Weekly cover story — and so is Derek Hough! The Australian actress and her DWTS pro partner gushed about the new issue during Dancing With the Stars All Access on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
“Oh my goodness! Wow! This is the first time I’m seeing it,” Irwin, 17, exclaimed during the live broadcast.
“Wow!” Hough, 30, chimed in. “Beautiful cover.”
In the new issue, the young wildlife conservationist exclusively opens up to Us about her late father, crocodile hunter Steve Irwin, who died in September 2006 at age 44. The Bindi’s Bootcamp host also dishes on her American boyfriend, and how she really feels about those skimpy DWTS costumes.
“The love and support has been phenomenal. And for me I really want to be able to share my journey with everybody,” Irwin said Tuesday night. “Come with me! Share it with me! Live it with me! Come with us on this adventure! This is so new, so this is something we can share together.”
DWTS All Access shares exclusive content with fans on ABC.com during the dancing competition each week, and is hosted by Dominic Bowden and Kym Johnson.
