A memoir from Mini Me!

Verne Troyer — best known for his role as Dr. Evil's mischievous right-hand man in the Austin Powers films — is currently penning a book about his life, a source tells Us Weekly.

The 43-year-old actor plans to talk about his upbringing, the source says, as well as spill about working with actors like Jim Carrey, Mike Meyers and Daniel Radcliffe. "Verne has already started working on several chapters, and has been shopping it around to publishers," the source shares. "He's confident he will get a deal."

Troyer — who, at 2-foot-8, is one of the shortest men in the world — is currently shooting Keith Lemon: The Film, slated for a release later this year. The actor has appeared in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, The Love Guru, and has guest-starred on Two and a Half Men.

Post-Austin Powers, Troyer enjoyed a couple of memorable stints on reality TV. In a humiliating moment during VH1's The Surreal Life in 2004, Troyer got drunk and urinated in the house's gym. Then, during a 2009 appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, the star again drank too much, and, after hitting on his housemate LaToya Jackson, crashed his scooter on his way to the show's diary room.

In 2008, Troyer made news when a private home movie of him and former girlfriend Ranae Shrider having sex was leaked to the public–something the star is likely to address in his book. Says the source, "Verne will talk about racy aspects of his life, from his visits to the Playboy Mansion, to various relationships he's had."
