Don't mess with a Texas woman!
Actor Armie Hammer's wife Elizabeth Chambers never pulls any punches — even with A-list movie stars like Leonardo DiCaprio.
In the October issue of Details — Social Network hunk Hammer is the cover boy — Texas-born TV journalist Chambers, 28, describes a confrontation with notorious ladies' man DiCaprio, 36.
"I actually met Leo when I was modeling in Tokyo when I was in high school. He hooked up with my roommate," Chambers tells the mag of the star, who she encountered years later on the set of J. Edgar, in which her husband Hammer, 25, costars.
"When I saw him after all those years, I said, 'Tell me you're not an *sshole. Do not make me hate you for the rest of the shoot'," she says.
Her interrogation of DiCaprio continued: "'She was Spanish — you took a bath your first night together. What's her name?'"
DiCaprio's response? "He goes, 'Marta.'"
"Texas women are incredible!" an enamored Hammer marvels. "They're like, 'I love you, I'm sweet, I'm kind, but don't f*** with me, because I'll stab you."
The couple met at a West Hollywood gas station in 2006. After he convinced her to leave her current boyfriend, they began dating two years later. They wed in May 2010.
One Christmas, the fiery twosome even exchanged guns for Christmas. "I gave her this little .22 revolver," Hammer tells Details. "She got me a Sig Sauer P220 — a great .45 automatic."
