Poor Ariana Grande. The “Into You” singer, 23, got visibly flustered when asked about her new boyfriend, Mac Miller, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, September 14.
After Grande talked about her 2016 MTV Video Music Awards performance, Ellen DeGeneres caught her off guard by asking, “Let’s talk about your love life, can we?”
“Oh, my God, oh God. I don’t know, man. This is so crazy! I wasn’t prepared,” the “Dangerous Woman” singer said while fidgeting in her chair and playing with her jacket.
The talk show host, 58, then pointed out that Grande and Miller, 24, previously performed their collaboration “My Way” on Ellen three years ago.
“Yeah, we performed together on your show,” the Disney alum explained. “We were babies!”
“I asked you something about him [at the time], and you said, ‘I’m his homie.’ And now he’s living in your homie,” DeGeneres quipped.
Clearly embarrassed, Grande said, “This is so crazy! I’ve never had the relationship talk on a show before.… No pressure.”
The Finding Dory star then asked the “Side to Side” singer point-blank if she’s dating the “Donald Trump” rapper. “Oh, yeah,” Grande confirmed as she covered her face with her arms.
The entertainer was previously linked to rapper Big Sean and backup dancer Ricky Alvarez, the latter of whom she split from earlier this summer.
Grande and Miller recently collaborated on “My Favorite Part,” a track on his forthcoming fourth album, The Divine Feminine, which is set to be released Friday, September 16.
The sweet slow jam includes lyrics such as “The universe couldn’t keep us apart / Why would it even try?” and “You just don’t know how beautiful you are / And baby, that’s my favorite part.”
