Are those wedding bells we hear?! Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are taking their relationship to the next step. The country crooner, 40, and pop star, 46, have hired a wedding planner, a source tells Us Weekly. According to the insider, the pair, who have been inseparable since Fall 2015 (following their respective divorces from Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale), have hired party planner Jerri Woolworth.
That said, there’s no wedding date secured just yet.
“If there is a wedding date, they haven’t told their families yet,” a second insider explains to Us of the pair’s nuptials. “They talk about their future and growing old together, but there aren’t specific plans like a dress or flowers.”
Another pal told Us (in our new issue, out now) that marriage is definitely a “priority” for the fellow Voice coaches, who exclusively confirmed their relationship to Us in November 2015.
“He hasn’t been this happy in years,” a Shelton pal told Us, adding that “they’re both in this for the long haul.”
Although Shelton has yet to formally pop the question to the “Truth” singer, Stefani already knows what kind of wedding she wants.
“Gwen has said they both want something more low-key than their first weddings,” the second insider says. “It would likely be at Blake’s ranch [in Oklahoma] or in the backyard. Gwen doesn’t really care, she is just in love with Blake and their life together.” No word yet on how Stefani’s adorable sons Kingston, 10, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2, will be incorporated yet either.
