She's gotta have faith! For her 27th birthday, Adele dressed in drag as the ‘80s/early-'90s version of George Michael, and shared a photo of herself via Twitter.
In the snap, the "Someone Like You" singer-songwriter — who has been missing from the spotlight for well over a year — channels Faith-era Michael with full scruff, aviators, and a poof of '80s-style hair. Adele even channels the Faith hitmaker's signature attitude in the accompanying snaps.
"Thank you for the birthday wishes I had a wonderful time!" Adele wrote on Twitter. "I was my hero x #gottahavefaith."

Her sweet gesture did not go unnoticed by fellow British pop-soul singer Michael, who responded to Adele's update on Wednesday, May 6. "Happy Birthday @OfficialAdele !!!" he wrote. "I'm so flattered, love The Singing Greek! xxx."
Prior to her birthday post, Adele's last social media update was in March when she reminded her 22 million plus fans on Twitter of World Water Day. Prior to that, she tweeted an update about her relationship with her boyfriend Simon Konecki, with whom she shares 2-year-old son Angelo. "Just wanted to wish everyone happy holidays & all the best for 2015!" she wrote last December. "PS Simon & I are still very much together, don't believe what you readx."
The "Skyfall" crooner last made headlines with Us Weekly back in January after grabbing dinner at the same time as Jennifer Lawrence and Harry Styles in West Hollywood hot spot Craig's.
"They exchanged a bunch of laughs for quite awhile before Adele rejoined her table," an eyewitness told Us at the time.
Adele's wildly anticipated third studio album is not expected for release until this fall. Adele's second studio album 21, which was released in January 2011, was the first album to sell over 3 million digital copies. As of last year, it has sold over 11 million copies worldwide.
