Tyra Banks‘ biological clock is ticking . . . and she knows it!
Hard at work hosting The CW’s latest college-themed installment of America’s Next Top Model, Banks sits down with Steve Harvey for an interview airing Wednesday to discuss her longing to slow down and have a family.
Dispelling rumors she’s dating her ANTM costar Rob Evans, Banks, 38, isn’t looking for a much-younger baby daddy. “I ain’t no cougar,” Banks confirms.
Instead of focusing on short-term romantic pursuits, Banks tells Harvey she prefers to think longer-term. “I’m really ready to have some babies. I want babies!” she enthuses in this sneak preview from The Steve Harvey Show.
Nurturing young wannabe models during the past 19 cycles of ANTM, Banks has fine-tuned her maternal instinct, and realizes she has to act fast when it comes to family planning.
“I’ve always wanted them, but I’ve been saying ‘I want babies in three years’ since I was, like, 27. And now I’m 28,” she says with a chuckle. “No, I’m 38 — I think it’s time. [My eggs are] going to be hard-boiled and fried and scrambled up in there, so it’s time to get those eggs working!”
Tyra Banks’ appearance on The Steve Harvey Show airs Wednesday (check local listings for time and channel.)
