“You know, I do, I like even numbers, they keep asking, they all want one more because they want a little baby sister now,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum told Us at the OPI Grease Nail Polish Collection launch in West Hollywood on Thursday, May 10. “But I can’t imagine dad being sane if we have one more. It would push dad over the edge. He’s doing the best he can!”

Spelling, 44, and McDermott, 51, are already the parents of Liam, 11, Stella, 9, Hattie, 6, Finn, 5, and Beau, 14 months. (The Chopped Canada host also shares 19-year-old Jack with his ex wife, Mary Jo Eustace.)

“It’s going amazing. You know, we had four kind of back-to-back. I was pregnant for years, and then there was a little break, so now that we have started over basically, Dean always says we got all the amount of diapers, all of them self-sufficient, and then started all over again with Beau,” Spelling told Us of her family. “But Beau is going to be the happiest, well-adjusted baby ever because he has four doting brothers and sisters. We joke, he hasn’t started walking yet and we’re like, ‘Well why should he? Everyone carries him everywhere.’ And he knows too.”

She added: “It’s amazing to watch your other kids take care of your youngest kid, it’s unbelievable. It’s a built-in playdate I always say! We have a big family playdate 24/7. And I didn’t grow up in a big family. It’s surprising that I never even thought I would want this many kids. Just watching them all together is such a special thing. I can’t even imagine it any other way.”

Eustace, who was married to McDermott for nearly 13 years, told Us in March that she would not be shocked if the couple had a sixth child.

“I think my son would not be surprised if they had another one … “I wouldn’t be surprised if she had another one,” the Canadian TV personality told Us, adding that she believes the duo get a trust fund from Spellings’ mother, Candy Spelling, for each child. “So, there’s incentive there.”

Spelling and McDermott made headlines in March after officers were called to their house twice in one week and they were spotted leaving a family dinner with a police escort. The True Tori star never addressed the drama, but she told Us on Thursday that she does “better in chaos.”

“I don’t ever have a moment to myself. I always say, I haven’t peed alone in 11 years. Like, I literally don’t have a moment to myself! But I love it. You take those moments when they’re playing and you’re watching them, you take a moment to just practice your breathing,” Spelling explained. “Being in the now is the hardest challenge, especially for a mom. Cherish that, because you blink and it’s gone. If the photo’s in your mind, you can always go back to the feeling you had in that moment.”
