A new arrival! Alexandra Breckenridge has given birth to a baby girl, Us Weekly can confirm.
The This Is Us star, 35, and husband Casey Hooper welcomed a daughter, Billie Breckenridge Hooper, on Wednesday, December 6, according to Entertainment Tonight. Their bundle of joy reportedly weighed 7 lbs., 13 oz. and measured 20 inches long.
Billie is the second child for the couple who are also parents to a 16-month-old son, Jack.
In November, the actress spoke to Us Weekly about her initial fear to announce her pregnancy at work. “I was like, ‘I’m gonna get fired,’ she told Us at the time. “I was scared to tell them because I thought it would cause issues for production.”
She added that her concerns ended up being completely unfounded and that the show’s creator, Dan Fogelman, was thrilled. “I called Dan and said, ‘I’m sorry. I’m pregnant,’” she recalled to Us of the conversation. “He was just like, ‘Oh, that’s amazing! Congratulations!’ He’s so nice.”
It wasn’t just her boss who was excited, either. Her onscreen boyfriend Justin Hartley (a.k.a. Kevin Pearson), who also has a daughter, was just as enthused. “Justin’s been very sweet,” she told Us.
Their precious baby girl comes after Breckenridge admitted she was praying for a daughter. “Not because I don’t love my boy,” she said. “I was just scared of having another one because Jack has so much energy and I just thought with two of them I’d never be able to keep up.”
