Jenelle Evans’ son Kaiser is on the mend after having surgery to help his hearing. The 4-year-old recently underwent adenoidectomy.
“My poor bubba! After many many doctors appointments and tests… Kaiser had to get tubes in his ears and his adenoids removed like I did when I was little,” the 26-year-old wrote alongside a series of photos of Kaiser in the hospital on Thursday, October 4. “Hearing test showed his hearing was down by 40% and now his ears have already improved, super happy for him!”
She added: “Prayers please for a speedy recovery, thanks! 😢💞 #MommasBoy #FirstSurgery #EarTubesSurgery #Adnoidectomy (sic).”
Evans shares Kaiser with her ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith. The former couple, who dated from 2013 to 2015, have been fighting over custody of their son in recent months. In July, Griffith filed a motion seeking full legal and physical custody of Kaiser, accusing Evans and her husband, David Eason, of having “drug dependency and substance abuse issues,” ” which caused Kaiser to “test positive for [tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)] at birth.”
During an exchange on Twitter, Evans claimed Griffith, 31, has not spoken to Kaiser recently.
“Why don’t you try calling your son instead of posting this? Lol you still haven’t called even tho you love to bitch on here. This is getting ridiculous with you,” the MTV star tweeted on Tuesday, October 2.
Evans is also mother of son Jace, 8, from a previous relationship and daughter Ensley, 20 months, whom she shares with Eason.
Teen Mom 2 is expected to return to MTV in 2019.
