Can you feel the love? Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici welcomed their first baby together on Saturday, July 2, and a source tells Us Weekly that the Bachelor couple couldn’t be more ecstatic.
“Sean and Catherine are so in love with Samuel already and are excited to be a family of three,” the source exclusively tells Us. “Catherine and the baby are doing great. They’re both healthy and happy.”
Lowe, 32, took to Twitter on Saturday night to announce their little bundle of joy’s arrival. “God is good!” he wrote. “We had a healthy baby boy named Samuel Thomas. Thank you everyone for your prayers and support.”
New mom Giudici, 30, added her own sentiments in a follow-up tweet: “I’m in love with another boy, my son Samuel Thomas Lowe.”
The source tells Us that Lowe is especially excited that the couple will be raising a boy together.
“He wants to teach him sports and things like that, but he also is really excited to raise a great gentleman,” the insider says. “He is so close with his dad and feels so lucky to have a great dad as a role model and wants to be that for his son.”
The lovebirds first revealed that they were bracing for the birth on Friday, July 1, when Giudici tweeted a funny GIF of The Lion King’s Rafiki.
“It is time,” she captioned the cartoon image.
Lowe and Giudici met on The Bachelor in 2012 and married in a televised wedding in January 2014. They revealed their happy baby news in December 2015.
