Jason Street's a dad… again! Friday Night Lights actor Scott Porter welcomed his first son (in real life) with wife Kelsey Mayfield on Saturday, May 23. The TV star, 35, tweeted the intensive labor process, which started on Friday, May 22.
"And…it's go time," he wrote, later adding, "30 hours in. My wife is a Gladiator in the ring! I am astounded by her fight. A long road to go, no meds at all. Prayers for strength!"
Finally on Saturday, Porter took to Twitter to report the good news, writing, "After a 44 Hour odyssey, #HousePorter has a new heir! Mommy and baby boy are both healthy and resting! Thank you all for the positive light!"

Then on Sunday, May 24, Porter shared the first photo of his baby boy, writing, "McCoy Lee Porter. Born 5/23/15 4:16PM 8 lbs, 5 oz. | 20.5 inches 32cm Cranium. #ReadyForMyCloseUp #BabyBoyMcCoy."
Porter and Mayfield married in April 2013 after meeting on the set of Friday Night Lights.
After getting his start on As the World Turns in 2006, Porter went on to have recurring roles in The Good Wife, the X-Men TV series, and Hart of Dixie.
