Princess Charlotte sure knows how to charm an audience. The 2-year-old — clad in a powder blue dress— waved proudly at well-wishers outside St. Mary’s hospital in London on Monday, April 23 — and proceeded to win over the internet.
“Princess Charlotte. 2 years old and a TOTAL PRO at the Royal Rave already. The turn back and wave to the cameras as they entered the Lindo Wing was EVERYTHING,” tweeted one person. Added another: “I don’t know if I want children but my ovaries shook around a little when Princess Charlotte kept looking back and waving at photographers while walking into the hospital with her Dad to meet her little brother.”
A third tweeted: “There is no human on the planet, royalist or otherwise, who can fail to be unaffected by Princess Charlotte waving as she enters the hospital. I’ve now watched the footage upwards of eight times. Obsessed.

Princess Charlotte is so cute waving! While George is like: ‘I’ve done it once. Not doing it again.’ 😂

Charlotte’s older sibling, Prince George, who was dressed in his Thomas’s Battersea school uniform, appeared a bit shy, as their dad, Prince William, led them up the steps of the Lindo Wing to meet their baby brother. (He hammed it up for revelers back in May 2015 when William took him to meet Charlotte for the first time.)
As previously reported, Duchess Kate “safely” delivered an 8 pound, 7 ounce baby boy at 11:01 a.m. local time with the Duke of Cambridge, 36, by her side.
Princess Charlotte and Prince George have since left the Lindo Wing but will continue to bond with the newborn tonight at the family’s 22-room Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace.
Kensington Palace said in a tweet Monday: “Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for the care and treatment the received. They would also like to thank everyone for their warm wishes.”
