Pregnant Porsha Williams and her fiancé, Dennis McKinley, are savoring their last few weeks of alone time. The couple, who are expecting their first child together — a baby girl — in January, jetted off to the Bahamas on Sunday, December 23.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 37, Instagrammed an airplane selfie of herself and McKinley cuddling in their seats before takeoff on Sunday. In the snap, the model’s bump was on full display, as was her inflight snack: a slice of pepperoni pizza.
Williams, who previously suffered a second trimester pregnancy loss, was cautious about sharing her baby news with the ladies on RHOA. “I’ve decided not to tell the girls about the pregnancy now because it’s just a scary thing if you’ve ever dealt with miscarriage before,” she explained on Sunday’s episode of the Bravo reality show. “So to me, it’s not going to be real, real, real until I go to the first appointment and everything’s OK.”
During a trip to Destin, Florida, with the women, the Dish Nation host pretended to be on a diet that didn’t allow alcohol. But Williams couldn’t fool her friends. “Porsha has not been drinking on this trip!” Cynthia Bailey exclaimed. “Her stomach is definitely not flat. And you guys, when we pulled up at the gas station — you know how at the station station they sell those big dill pickles in a jar? I think she [bought one]!”
In November, Williams told Us Weekly she was able to relax a little after making it past the fourth month of her pregnancy. “Now, it’s becoming more and more real,” she revealed at the time. “I know my baby’s actually going to be here. But I think each step I am a still a little nervous.”
Earlier that month, Williams, who suffered from fibroids, was hospitalized after experiencing pain due to the gynecological condition.
