Duchess Kate has her hands full at the moment. The 36-year-old royal just welcomed her third child — a baby boy — with Prince William on Monday, April 23. But Kate will always have time to share advice with her pregnant sister Pippa Middleton.
A source confirms in the new issue of Us Weekly that the writer, 34, and her husband, James Matthews, are expecting their first child together — and a pal says Kate can be counted on to answer all first-time mom questions. “Kate has so much knowledge to share,” the friend tells Us. “She’s a walking baby encyclopedia at this point!”
Kate and the Duke of Cambridge, who brought their newborn son home from St. Mary’s Hospital on Monday, are also parents of Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2.
Back in August 2017, three months after Middleton and the hedge fund manager, 42, exchanged vows, a source told Us the newlyweds were “trying for baby.”
While Middleton waits for her own bundle of joy to make his or her debut, she can practice swaddling Kate and William’s latest addition. Middleton met her new nephew at Kensington Palace on Tuesday, April 24, a source told Us.
Pippa, who memorably served as one of Kate’s bridesmaids in 2011, is a frequent visitor to her sister’s 22-room Apartment 1A residence. “We spend a lot of time together,” Pippa revealed during a 2014 appearance on Today show. “We can sort of be normal with each other, treat each other normally, and that’s sort of kept us all fixed to the ground. We’re very close.”
Pippa married at Matthews at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire, in May 2017.
