Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore has a bun in her oven. When the 47-year-old announced on the Sunday, April 8, season 10 reunion show that she and her husband, Mark Daly, are expecting their first child together, the Bravo star never used the word “pregnant.” And fans took notice.
“Kenya never really said she was preggers,” tweeted one viewer that evening. “But they will be welcoming a baby at the end of the year, soon do they have a surrogate? Hmmmmm???”

The mom-to-be swiftly replied: “No surrogate but maybe my next one.”
Moore thanked her well-wishers in a Monday, April 9, Instagram post. “I was not planning on speaking about my pregnancy this early as due to my age I’m high risk,” she wrote. She encouraged her supporters to be patient: “There is plenty to share and I’m sure you will see every minute of our joy next season with a front row seat.”
Moore revealed during the reunion special that she and Daly will become parents to a “boy or girl in late this year.” The former model was hesitant to share details, explaining, “I’m still very nervous about everything so I want to get past a safe place.”
In December, Moore opened up to Us Weekly about her dream of becoming a mother. “Let’s just say that we definitely want to have a child. I’m not opposed to treatments, so I wouldn’t be ashamed of that,” she told Us, referencing reports that she had underwent an IVF transfer one month earlier. “Let’s just hope in the next year we will see some results from what I’m doing.”
Moore has found the perfect partner in restauranteur Daly. Chances are he’s already at the car dealership locking down a car with sliding doors! “He dreams of driving a minivan. I’m like, who dreams of driving a minivan? He’s so excited,” she told Us in December. “I think it’s so cute.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Bravo Sundays at 8 p.m. ET.
