Kate Gosselin, Octo-Mom Named Worst Celebrity Neighbors - Us Weekly

It's hard enough to avoid the scandalous lives of Octo-Mom Nadya Suleman and reality star Kate Gosselin, but imagine living next to them!

The two infamous moms top a recent list of the most — and least — desirable celebrity neighbors.

Suleman — the single mother of 14 children living in Las Habras, California — has been deemed the worst neighbor for 2010. According to more than 2,000 adults surveyed in the third annual poll by real estate website Zillow, 17 percent said they don't want to share a fence with her.

Sixteen percent named Kate and Jon Gosselin, who have since gotten divorced but split time at their $1.1 million home in Reading, Pennsylvania.

"Apparently Americans are opposed to living next door to a brood of young children, particularly those that come with a television crew and paparazzi," Zillow real estate expert Amy Bohutinsky told UsMagazine.com in a statement.

Conversely, the Obama family finished as the most desirable neighbors — for their prestigious White House pad in Washington, D.C. — in the poll. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi tied for second place with former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who placed on both the most and least desirable neighbor lists.

"For two years in a row now, Americans have made it clear that they think politicians and talk show hosts make the best neighbors, Bohutinsky told Us.

Other stars making the list of most desirable neighbors include Taylor Swift, Oprah Winfrey and Robert Pattinson. Embattled golfer Tiger Woods, Kanye West and Hills stars Heidi and Spencer Pratt rounded out the worst potential neighbors.
