Momager to the rescue! Kris Jenner is no stranger to publicly defending her children — and she did just that during an interview on Sunday, March 11.
When rumors were brought up that rapper Tyga — who split from Kylie Jenner in April 2017 — wanted to conduct a paternity test over Kylie’s one-month-old baby, whom she shares with boyfriend Travis Scott, the 62-year-old reality star quickly shut them down.
During Kris’ appearance on the 106.5 radio show Kyle and Jackie O., host Kyle alluded to the gossip saying, “Tyga was chiming in saying maybe it was his baby.” But Kris wasn’t having it. Before he could go any further, she chimed in: “Oh no, no no. I think that was just a bunch of silly rumors as usual.” She then added, “Yeah you guys know better than that.”
Earlier this month, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star gushed over Scott. “He’s so great,” she told reporters during an interview on Wednesday, March 7 for the grand opening of Nassif MD Medical Spa in Beverly Hills. “He’s really, really great, really attentive, and couldn’t be cuter with Kylie.”
She also dished on Kylie’s new journey in motherhood. “It’s great. She loves it. She’s doing really, really great,” Kris said at the time. “The baby’s happy and healthy and everybody’s good at home. So we’re excited.”
As previously reported, though the 20-year-old Lip Kit creator stayed mum throughout her entire pregnancy, she confirmed her happy news in an Instagram post three days after welcoming her daughter, Stormi.
“I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions,” Kylie wrote at the time. “I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. my pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself i needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way i knew how. there was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal i had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.”
