Better together. Kourtney Kardashian said that coparenting with her ex Scott Disick helps her set a positive example for other parents.
“I feel like I show a message too, of, like, parents can get along and work together,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 39, said during an appearance on the Today show on Thursday, February 7. “We travel together and … I think it’s a good message to show other people. I’m not doing it for that reason, but I think the positive things that we are doing, it’s nice, too.”
Though the E! star recently had a dinner date with a new man, David Dee Duron, she still spends plenty of time with Disick, 35, and his girlfriend, Sofia Richie: The trio even vacationed in Mexico together in December.
“What more can a guy ask for,” the businessman wrote on an Instagram photo of himself sitting in between his former and current loves on December 23. “THREE’S COMPANY.”
The reality star and the model have had their issues in the past, with Richie, 20, feeling “uncomfortable” about a family pic Kardashian posted with Disick over Thanksgiving, but they have since come to an understanding. “At this point, Kourtney is so over any drama between Scott and Sofia and her,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively in December. “Scott and Sofia are obviously not breaking up any time soon and are very much in love and Kourtney has accepted that. She just wants to bury the hatchet and move on with her life. It’s best for her, their family and Sofia, too. All the drama is water under the bridge and they are all collectively in a much better space.”
Kardashian and Disick, who share son Mason, 9, daughter Penelope, 6, and son Reign, 4, also headed overseas together in October to Bali, Indonesia. “Scott went to Bali. It was a family trip. All the kids were going,” a source told Us at the time. “Kourtney decided to invite him so they could spend time as a family.”
The source told Us that their strategy seemed to be working for the pair: “Coparenting couldn’t go better.”
The health advocate also has her own aspirations: Today cohost Craig Melvin joked that the TV personality, who has been pushing for better governmental regulations for personal care products, should run for office.
“I haven’t thought about that,” she said, joking, “We can! You wanna make it happen?”
