Spending time with her toddler! Khloé Kardashian is “super involved” in her 2-year-old daughter True’s life, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.
“Khloe is very emotionally and healthily supportive as a mom,” the source says. “She is very communicative and always tries to set the best example for True to live by — mentally, emotionally and spiritually.”
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 36, became a mother in April 2018 when she gave birth to her and Tristan Thompson’s daughter. True’s arrival came three years after the E! personality shared her desire to be a “fun” parent.
“I’m a really fun aunt, so I hope I’m going to be a fun mom,” the reality star told Refinery 29 in April 2015. “I like to have fun and be silly and not take myself too seriously with the kids, so I hope that will translate when I actually have my own.”
After welcoming True, the Strong Looks Better Naked author was most surprised by how “tired” she felt as a new mom. “You know that babies are so helpless and they rely on you for everything,” she explained in a May 2018 blog post. “Something just takes over and you find the energy to care for this helpless precious baby. … You find this energy and patience for your child.”
The Celebrity Apprentice alum opened up in July about “definitely” wanting more kids, and she previously spoke with Thompson about providing sperm for freezing embryos in the future.
While she and the athlete, 29, were broken up at the time, Us confirmed in August that the on-again, off-again couple are back together and would “love” to have baby No. 2.
“True is at the perfect age [for a sibling],” a source exclusively told Us last month.
Thompson, who also shares son Prince, 3, with ex Jordan Craig, previously cheated on Kardashian with multiple women in April 2018 and with Kylie Jenner’s friend Jordyn Woods in February 2019. The Good American cocreator is “hopeful” that their relationship will be different this time around.
“The fact that Tristan hasn’t been working or been able to hang out with his friends and other athletes who have previously been a negative influence on him like he used to has been great for their relationship,” the insider told Us in August.
