“I am very happy for Porsha and her pregnancy,” Burruss, 42, told Us Weekly recently, noting that she did not roll her eyes or make a face when Williams shared the news. According to the former Xscape singer, her reaction was simply edited to drum up drama.

“I hate when they do that, when they make it look like I’m really mad or something,” she told Us. “No, I’m happy for her, happy she’s able to have the baby that she’s been wanting for a long time.”

The two women, who were once close, have had a strained relationship since season 9 when Williams claimed that Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, attempted to drug her for sex. “We’re in a better place now,” Burruss told Us on Monday, November 5. In fact, Burruss believes the Dish Nation radio host will be “a great mom.” Her prediction is based on the way in which Williams behaved when she was married to retired NFL player Kordell Stewart. (The former couple split after two years in 2013.)

“When we first met Porsha, she was really trying to one the best wife she could be. She cooked, she cleaned. She was the traditional housewife in a sense,” Burruss explained. “I’m assuming that she’s going to do her best to be the best mom can she be, and hopefully everything will go well with this pregnancy and she has an opportunity to show how great of a mom she could be.”

Meanwhile, Burruss and Tucker, are hoping to hoping to expand their family with frozen embryos from when she underwent IVF treatments in 2015. (The 90’s pop star and Tucker are parents of son, Ace, 2, and she is mom of daughter Riley, 16, from a previous relationship.)

If the embryo transfer is successful, Burruss and the TV producer will have a daughter. “We have two embryos that are still left from when we had Ace,” Burruss told Us on Tuesday. “And we know they’re girls.”

Burruss and Tucker tied the knot in 2014.
