The drama continues. Jon Gosselin claimed that his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin, has made little effort to spend time with their son Collin since she lost custody of him in December 2018.
Jon, 41, his girlfriend, Colleen Conrad, and Collin, 14, had a fun-filled weekend together, which the Couples Therapy alum documented on Instagram. “Great weekend with Collin and Colleen,” he wrote on Monday, February 4. “Philly Auto Show and The beach!!!!”
A fan commented on the post, “He looks great! I do wonder though why Kate never shares pictures of him as if she never even sees or spends time with him. You’re a great dad!” Another Instagram user defended Kate, 43, by writing, “You don’t know that off social media and cameras that she didn’t go and see her son or how often she does,” and Jon couldn’t bite his tongue.

According to the radio DJ, the former Dancing With the Stars contestant spends “ZERO” time with Collin, whom Jon now has sole custody over. The legal decision came after Kate and her lawyer failed to show up to a hearing regarding the teenager.

While Jon’s relationship with Collin is strong, he told Us Weekly in December that his last meeting with all eight of his children, which happened about a year earlier, was “not good.”
“It was just volatile and a lot going on,” he explained. “It was just not a good time. Like, forced custody and all that kind of stuff.”
The former TLC personality split from the Kate Plus 8 star in 2009 after a decade of marriage. Kate was originally granted full legal custody of their sextuplets (Collin, Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Joel and Aaden) and now-18-year-old twins Mady and Cara, while Jon got shared physical custody.
In 2016, the I Just Want You to Know author revealed that Collin was seeking inpatient treatment for behavioral issues. He later moved in with Jon, and Hannah followed suit in February 2018.
“[Collin is] happy and he has the light back in his eyes again,” a source told Us after the custody case was settled. “He’s in great health.”
