She seems engaged and genuinely intrigued by interacting with her friends and new teachers over Zoom.”

The former World of Dance host welcomed Everly in 2013 with her then-husband, Channing Tatum. Following their 2018 split, the Gracefully You author went on to date Steve Kazee. The pair got engaged in February and welcomed their son, Callum, now 5 months, the following month.

When it comes to coparenting her eldest with her former Step Up costar, 40, Dewan uses the OurFamilyWizard app, according to court documents. The former couple finalized their 50/50 joint custody agreement in January, two months after they were declared legally single.

Having her daughter going “back and forth between two homes” while raising Callum has made quarantining during the coronavirus pandemic difficult, Dewan told Us and other reporters earlier this week. “There’s a lot going on,” she said on Wednesday, August 26.

The Connecticut native added at the time: “Being a mom, it’s really hard to find that time for myself. It’s just the honest truth. There’s so much going on this year. It’s been tough.”

Dewan also stressed the importance of self-care, explaining, “If I miss that and if I don’t give that to myself, the rest of life and days just spiral out, so I take care of myself first in the morning. I’ve really been good about committing to that and then I sort of build on that and give to everyone else throughout the day. I have to boost myself in the mornings.”

The Supergirl alum gushed about the benefits of Renew Life’s probiotic products as well, telling Us on Thursday: “After giving birth and all the worldwide stress and changes, it has never been more important for me to do what I can to balance myself physically and focus on wellness, to destress and help boost my immune system.”
