How adorable is this! Javi Marroquin enlisted a very special person to help announce that he’s expecting his first child with his girlfriend, Lauren Comeau.
The Teen Mom 2 star, 25, took to Instagram on Wednesday, May 30, to share a picture (taken by photographer Jon Lloyd Jr.) of his 4-year-old son, Lincoln, smiling while holding up a sonogram of the baby. Marroquin and Comeau stand in the background as the mom-to-be cradles her baby bump.
“Been kinda quiet lately for many reasons. I was sad I couldn’t share the good news because I was afraid of what people would say,” the MTV personality captioned his post. “The amount of love I’ve received is so overwhelming and so appreciated. I realized No negative comment will take this moment away from us. A baby is a blessing and I am ecstatic for the future.”
Marroquin told his 1.6 million Instagram followers that he, Comeau and Lincoln are “happy.” He said he plans to take a break from social media to enjoy the news “with my family and loved ones.”
“For those sending love, thank you! We appreciate it,” he added. “And to you @lauren3elizabeth thank you for blessing me with another child. We are gonna be amazing parents together.”
The reality star shares Lincoln with his ex-wife, Kailyn Lowry, to whom he was married from 2012 to 2017. The 26-year-old is also the mother of sons Isaac, 8, and Lux, 9 months, with exes Jo Rivera and Chris Lopez, respectively.
Marroquin admitted to Us exclusively on Wednesday that he was “a little nervous” to tell Lowry that Comeau is pregnant. “Linc knew, so I didn’t want him spilling the beans before I did, but [Lowry] took it well,” he said. “I think we’re both at a point in our lives where we are happy for each other.”
