Jason Mesnick is now a father of two, the former Bachelor announced on Twitter March 14. "We welcomed the most beautiful healthy baby girl to our family today, Riley Anne Mesnick," he wrote. "Thank you all for your well wishes!"
Mesnick, 36, and Molly Malaney, 28, met on season 13 of the ABC reality show in 2009 and tied the knot the following year; Malaney, who has since taken her husband's surname, announced her pregnancy in October 2012. The Seattle-area dad also has an 8-year-old son, Ty, from a previous marriage.
Weeks before Riley's birth, Mesnick told Us Weekly his son was looking forward to having a younger sibling. "He's been an only child all of his life, so he's really excited to be a big brother and he totally understands what's going on," the account executive said. "And it's nice that he's older, so maybe he will be able to help out a little bit."
Other aspects of being a big brother are less exciting. "I think the one thing that Ty's not looking forward to is ever changing a diaper," Mesnick joked. "But he's been asking for a sibling literally since he could talk."
