On the mend! Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany Kerr, welcomed their daughter on Monday, February 4, but the former cheerleader revealed on her Instagram Story that they are still at the hospital.
“When your labor goes amazing … but then things go south,” the mother of two, 30, captioned footage of her wiggling feet. “Still hospital living with my trooper of a hubs and a precious little girl. One blood transfusion … and swollen everything.”
She added in a second video: “We’ve been in the hospital for days now, and I’m ready to take these fat little piggies home.” The American Idol alum giggled, and her husband, 41, could be heard laughing in the background.
This isn’t the first time Kerr and the country crooner have given fans a glimpse of their hospital stay. On Wednesday, February 6, the North Carolina native posted a video to Instagram of their 14-month-old son, Memphis, meeting his little sister, Navy, for the first time.
The couple’s baby boy wore a “Big Brother” shirt he rested his cheek against the infant’s face. “See Navy? You give her sugar?” the musician asked as he introduced the young siblings.
Kerr and Aldean, who tied the knot in 2015, welcomed their baby boy in December 2017. The “You Make it Easy” singer also has two daughters from his previous marriage to Jessica Ussery: Keeley, 15, and Kendyl, 11.
When Navy arrived earlier this week, the Academy of Country Music award winner shared a sweet tribute on social media. “Today our family became complete as we welcomed our daughter Navy Rome to the world,” he captioned a close-up pic of his sleeping daughter. “Born on 2/4/19 weighing 7lbs 12oz and looking identical to her older brother. So excited to watch what life has in store for this little princess.”
