Van Der Beek’s former Dawson’s Creek costar Katie Holmes was quick to congratulate the duo.
“Wow! Congratulations!!!!” Holmes, 39, commented on the post.
Mary-Margaret Humes, who played Van Der Beek’s mother on the former WB series, also commented on the post with a vague message. “Like, I was JUST saying to you…,” she wrote.
The Don’t Trust The B— in Apartment 23 alum and the producer, 33, started dating in July 2009 and tied the knot in August 2010.
“The woman I love did me the honor of became my wife today… I look forward to earning her for the rest of my life,” Van Der Beek tweeted after their wedding.
