Cutest cowboy ever! Gwen Stefani’s son Zuma rocked a Blake Shelton–inspired look at the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 12.
The “Used to Love You” singer, 46, was in Japan promoting her new album and couldn’t attend the Nickelodeon awards ceremony, but she sent her sons in her place to cheer on her boyfriend as he hosted and got slimed! Stefani tweeted an adorable photo of Zuma, 7, wearing cowboy boots and a denim vest with patches, which totally channeled the country singer’s signature style!
She also tweeted that she FaceTimed her 2-year-old son, Apollo, in the audience so she could watch the show live after she had technical difficulties streaming the awards. It was clear from all her tweets that she was bummed she couldn’t make it to see Shelton’s hosting gig. “Omg I love social media = wish I could be there too,” the “Misery” singer tweeted at a Kids’ Choice Awards Twitter account.
Although there was no sign of Stefani’s oldest son, Kingston, 9, a source previously told Us Weekly that all the kids had been looking forward to seeing Shelton, 39, up on stage.
“[Blake’s] pretty excited about it, but Gwen’s kids are REALLY excited,” the source told Us. “They adore Blake and are obsessed with the fact he’s hosting the Kids’ Choice Awards …They think he’s so cool!”
