Hey baby, hey baby, hey! Gwen Stefani gushed over Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo‘s newborn baby girl, Dusty Rose, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“Adam actually has been FaceTiming me all day because he just had his baby. She’s so cute!” Stefani, 46, said during an episode of the daytime talk show, which airs on Friday.
“I know! I saw the baby,” host Ellen DeGeneres chimed in. “She’s adorable. She’s cute.”
Levine’s rep confirmed to Us Weekly on Thursday that he and the Victoria’s Secret model, 27, welcomed Dusty Rose in L.A. on Wednesday.
“Everything went well and the baby is beautiful,” an insider told Us. “They’re a very happy couple and excited to start their family. I can tell you they make very beautiful babies together.”
Levine’s band, Maroon 5, canceled a few shows ahead of his daughter’s arrival. Additionally, Stefani, who is dating fellow Voice coach Blake Shelton, suggested during her Ellen chat that Levine, 37, hasn’t been on set of the NBC series since the birth. It’s the first child for the couple, who wed in 2014.
This season, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys took over for Stefani and Pharrell Williams in the red chairs.
“I got to go down to the set a few times, and it was really fun. It’s surreal,” the No Doubt frontwoman told DeGeneres, 58. “I’m not on the show. It’s Miley and it’s Alicia. I love both of them. I know both of them, and they are both so talented in their own ways. It’s so funny to see them interact.”
