She has just one request! Courteney Cox revealed the one and only thing she asks daughter Coco Arquette to do for her on Mother’s Day each year.

“I don’t usually get [this gift], but I beg my daughter to write me a letter,” the 53-year-old Friends alum told Us Weekly on Thursday, March 22, at the annual UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability Gala in Beverly Hills. “That’s what I always wanted.”

However, like any mom knows, you don’t always get what you ask for. “I don’t know if [she’s] ever really achieved [doing] that,” she joked of her 13-year-old’s inability to follow through on the sweet gift request.

She continued: “I like presents, don’t get me wrong … but with [Coco], just a little video, or a card or something easy, a picture [is what I want]. One time she did write me a song.”

The Cougar Town actress — who shares Coco with ex-husband David Arquette — opened up about motherhood in a June 2017 issue of NewBeauty, in which she revealed that she “would love to have a baby now” with current boyfriend Johnny McDaid.

“I mean, I could carry someone else’s egg. I may be one of the older people doing it, but I would love to, with Johnny that is,” she told the mag at the time of her boyfriend of five years. “I know it’s crazy, but I would.”

Cox also opened up about Coco’s love for makeup: “She thinks it’s beautiful artistry and she’s really good at it.”

She added: “Luckily, at school she can only wear mascara, but on the weekends you would think she’s going out to a rager at 2 a.m. – eyeliner, mascara, highlighter on her cheeks … I know some people think I should rein her in with the makeup, but it’s a form of self-expression.”
