Chrissy Teigen’s son, Miles, was supposed to be a Gemini!
“Today was your original due date,” wrote the model, 32, in a Thursday, June 7, Instagram post that shows Miles wrapped in a blanket and snoozing. “You heard how cool we are since that’s all we talk about (how cool we are) and you wanted to see what all the fuss was about, 3 weeks early. Well we tricked u! We are boring AF but we love you!”
Teigen and her husband, John Legend, welcomed their 4.5-pound baby boy on May 16. The couple are also parents of daughter Luna. Miles was named after jazz trumpeter Miles Davis, who passed away in 1991. Luna’s moniker was inspired by late civil rights activist and musician Nina Simone.
“Nothing fits my teenie premie,” Teigen tweeted on June 3. “I gotta learn to sew. Miles is tired of your body shaming, society!”
The Cravings cookbook author has her hands full with a newborn and a toddler. “I have never more understood the desire and need for short, simply meals,” she tweeted on May 26. “1 kid, and I was like ‘OK . . . easier would be nice but I got this’ but 2 kids, holy s—t f—k any recipe over 5 steps right now.”
R&B singer Legend is more than happy to take over in the kitchen. “The only thing I don’t like about him cooking is that it takes me away from him for a long time because he’s very slow in the kitchen,” she told Us Weekly in January. “Like painfully slow. And sometimes I can him from the living room chopping slowly . . . but it’s so cute because he loves to do it.”
