Up close and personal! Cardi B gives birth to her baby girl in an intimate video that her husband, Offset, shared on Instagram on Sunday, February 10.
While the footage promoted a Migos album and documentary set for a February 22 release, the “I Like it” rapper, 26, stole the show. After footage showed Offset, 27, FaceTiming his son and performing alongside Quavo and Takeoff, the camera cut to Cardi in the delivery room.
Two of her friends peered between the musician’s legs as a doctor directed her to hold her breath. “She’s right there,” the doctor said as Cardi lay back and screamed.
Her formerly estranged husband, who married the Grammy winner in September 2017, stood back with a wide-eyed expression on his face.
Cardi and Offset welcomed their first child together in July 2018. She announced Kulture’s arrival with a nude Instagram photo, cradling her baby bump in a room full of flowers. “Kulture Kiari Cephus 07/10/18,” she captioned the pic at the time.
Although she shared shots of her baby girl’s fingers and lips after her birth, the Bronx native didn’t reveal her daughter to the world until December 2018. “My heart,” Cardi wrote beneath the photo of Kulture in her car seat. The little one was wearing a striped bib with her name on it, as well as a pink sweater and bow headband.
Since then, the rapper has kept her baby girl out of the public eye. Rare appearances include Kulture making a brief appearance in the “Money” music video as her mom breast-fed her and crying in Cardi’s Instagram Story. Now Offset is showing off the moment she was born.
The new mom announced that she and the “Bad and Boujee” rapper split in December 2018, but admitted they were “working things out” after a court appearance two months later.
The couple appeared on the Grammys red carpet together on Sunday, February 10, even licking each other. Offset also joined Cardi onstage when she accepted her award for Best Rap Album of the Year.
One of the first people the rapper thanked in her speech was her daughter.
