New moms are inundated with parenting advice. Most of it goes in one ear and out the other. But Eva Longoria, who is expecting her first child in June, received a piece of wisdom from Anna Faris that she will never forget.
During a Tuesday, May 2, appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden, Longoria, 48, recalled a pow wow she had with her Overboard costar.
“She knows I’m having a boy, and she was like, ‘If there’s one thing I can tell you, you’re going to get peed on changing the diaper,’” said Longoria. Along with the warning, Faris, 41, who shares son Jack, 5, with ex Chris Pratt, offered a potty training hack that involves putting Cheerios in the toilet “so they can aim.”
Comedian Will Ferrell, who was seated beside the Desperate Housewives alum, joked about his own aim: “Oh my god! That’s why they were in the toilet.”

In September 2015, Faris shared a funny photo of Jack after he had an accident on the sidewalk. “Potty training is going so great!” she tweeted at her then-husband, Pratt. “I’m a natural.” The Avengers: Infinity War actor replied: “Those are swim shorts. Put him in the pool and that is acceptable behavior. I’m proud of both of you.”
Us Weekly confirmed in December that Longoria and her husband of nearly a year, Jose “Pepe” Baston, are expecting their first child together. The TV executive is already father of daughter Natalia and twins Mariana and Jose with his ex-wife Natalia Esperon.
