They’re her lips and she’ll fill them if she wants to? Kim Zolciak received backlash from fans after showing off her fuller lips on Instagram.
“I’m so ready for 2019! 🔥,” the 40-year-old Bravo star captioned a series of three selfies on the social media platform on Sunday, December 16, that showed her mouth looking larger than it usually does.
“Please stop with the lip injections, you are gorgeous, you don’t need to do that,” one user commented.
Another person wrote: “You are beautiful but I really wish you would consider stopping with the lip injections, you’re actually prettier without them.”
“Believe me I’m not hating, stop the lip injections!” a third person added.
While Zolciak did not respond to the backlash, she did thank a fan who told her looked “gorgeous” and replied to another user who asked about the return of her series Don’t Be Tardy. (According to Zolciak, the show is returning for season 7 in February.)
This is not the first time that the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star has been trolled about her lips. Back in August, she clapped back at fans who told her to take a break from the fillers.
“I love them for now,” she replied to a user with a single red heart emoji at the time.
A month prior, Zolciak’s then 16-year-old daughter Ariana Biermann (she turned 17 in October), was accused of getting lip injections of her own. “I’m so over people asking me this, I am 16 dude I’ve had no plastic surgery what so ever,” she wrote on her Instagram Story in July.
Zolciak’s eldest daughter, Brielle Biermann, meanwhile, previously revealed that she had her lips done in the past. Zolciak, who also shares four young kids with husband Kroy Biermann, spoke exclusively to Us Weekly in July about dealing with social media haters who make comments about her kids.
“Messing with my kids is gonna be a big one, you know? … Let’s use Brielle’s lips, right? So when Brielle wanted her lips done. It was something that she’s never really liked,” Zolciak told Us at the time. “She’s always talked about wanting bigger lips. She turned 18, I took her to the best. That’s her decision, her choice. I took her to the best. She was very open because she said she didn’t want other girls that felt like her to not know that there wasn’t an option. So she shared that with the world. Then, they’re like, ‘You look like a duck, you look awful, they look terrible, blah, blah, blah,’ and Brielle’s like, ‘Well f—k, maybe I shouldn’t say anything.’ I said, ‘No, you just basically do you.’”
She added: “When you talk about my kids, it does, at times, have an impact on me. You don’t even know our family like that. A lot of people that don’t even, is not a real follower or a real fan, it’s just somebody that just runs around to everybody’s page and is negative, at the end of the day. But my kids are definitely a touchy subject, or my husband.”
