Sounds like a Tony-winning wedding!
When Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh tied the knot on the stage of NYC's Longacre Theater on Friday, afternoon the talked-about couple pulled out all the stops.
Guests at the bash — which continued at a super-luxe reception held that night at the Plaza Hotel's Grand Ballroom — told UsMagazine.com that the wedding was "beautiful" and "so full of love."
Frasier star Grammer, 56, famously expedited his divorce from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Camille Grammer (his third wife) two weeks ago in order to fast-track his nuptials with British flight attendant Walsh, 29.
The actor and father of four is "very taken" with his new bride, a guest added Friday evening.
Us got a peek at the wedding program, offering a more detailed glimpse at the unique ceremony, which took place on the same stage where Grammer just finished his Tony-nominated run on La Cage Aux Folles.
Exchanging their vows on the stage (decked out with white candles), Grammer and Walsh had La Cage's full orchestra at their disposal. The bridesmaids and groomsmen included some of Grammer's kids from previous relationships: his grown daughters Greer Grammer, actress Spencer Grammer and his 5-year-old son with Camille, Jude. (As previously reporter, Kelsey and Camille's daughter Mason, 8 was a no-show.) Walsh's sister, two brothers and nephew rounded out the bridal party. (Their pals Angela Copeland and Carl Degersdorff served as Maid of Honor and Best Man, respectively.)
Before the vows, the couple was treated to several poetry readings from friends and family– and a song, "Feels Like Home," sung by Walsh's brother Stuart.
Walsh wore a satin and chiffon gown by Peter Langer for Mark Ingram.
At the lavish Plaza reception, guests chowed down on ginger prawns, filet mignon au poivre, slow-roasted turkey breast with chorizo stuffing, and braised short-ribs — plus, an elaborate 55-inch-tall carrot cake filled with cream cheese, caramel, and coconut whipped up by famed cake designer Sylvia Weinstock.
"She's thrilled," Weinstock told Us of Walsh. "They're a great couple and I see them having a great life together."
