Damn, girl! Kelly Rowland has always been fit, but she looks better and more toned than ever on the cover of Shape magazine's October issue. Posing in a camo-print crop top and skimpy black bikini bottoms, the new X Factor judge shows off her killer abs, sculpted arms, and long, lean legs.
Rowland, 32, works hard for her incredible body. Last year, she told Us Weekly that she works out five or six times a week and does 45 minutes of ab work every night. Her favorite exercises are the "Burn-It Bicycles," which she started doing with trainer Jeannette Jenkins.
"What I've learned is, I use my core for everything. Absolutely everything," she told Us about the importance of keeping those muscles fit. "When I'm dancing on stage, when i'm walking around — I have to make sure that my core is strong, is tight. You use it for everything."
The "Dirty Laundry" singer recently teamed up with Jenkins to film a second workout video. (Their first collaboration, Sexy Abs, was released in 2011.) Speaking with TheYBF.com in August about their new calorie-burning routine, Rowland said, "All I need is a good workout and that's it. I take of myself, take care of my skin, and I watch what I'm eating."
"I never like to say diet," she added. "I like to say eating clean. Listening to your body and knowing what your body responds well to. For me, it's green vegetables or fish. I don't feel like I'm heavy or weighed down or lethargic when I eat. Food should give you energy."
Which is not to say she's above indulging in the occasional sweet treat. Asked about her favorite guilty pleasure, the Destiny's Child songstress exclaimed, "Cupcakes! Or anything with sugar or chocolate sauce."
As for what keeps her motivated? "I like what it feels like naked," she explained. "I want to look good naked. Everybody wants to look good naked. That's the goal."
