Diane Kruger sure knows how to make an entrance! Barely a month after welcoming her first baby with Norman Reedus, the actress stunned on the red carpet on Sunday, December 2, at the Versace Pre-Fall 2019 runway show in NYC.
Kruger, 42, wore a bright Versace minidress with a statement belt that showed off her quick weight loss as well as her slim waist and long, toned legs. She slung a matching jean jacket-style coat over her shoulder. She was accompanied by her love of nearly two years, Reedus, 49.
A source confirmed to Us Weekly on November 2 that Kruger welcomed her baby with the Walking Dead star. The couple has not released their baby’s name or gender, though Kruger made a nod to the birth in a touching Thanksgiving Instagram post that thanked Reedus for “sharing life’s many blessings” with her. Us revealed in May that the actress was expecting her first child.

While the German actress and model has made a quick snap back after giving birth, she has spoken about her low-key attitude towards diets in the past. “I just try to be really healthy without going crazy. I don’t believe in all those juicing [crazes],” she told Coveteur in July 2017. “I believe I should be able to eat everything I love in moderation, and I kind of do.”
But the organic food advocate is sure to make her own meals. “I feel like when you make food for yourself, there’s sort of a satisfactory thing about making good food that’s actually good for you,” she said. “Don’t deprive yourself of anything, but eat in moderation.”

She also admitted that, after growing up as a dancer — first ballet, then ballroom — she stopped going to the gym by the time she was about 18. But that all changed in her late 30s. “About two or three years ago I had to gain weight for a movie, and it wouldn’t come off — I’ve been the same weight my entire life, and it wouldn’t come off, so I started going to the gym,” she said in the same 2017 interview. “I guess it’s coming from ballet, I have a very competitive thing in me and I got really into it and I love it. Now I go four or five times a week — I do Pilates, I do Xtend Barre. I just love it, and it makes me feel strong, and I feel confident.”
