Go shorty, it's your birthday! Chelsea Handler turned 40 on Wednesday, Feb. 25, so to celebrate, her pal Whitney Cummings shared a photo of the comedienne in her element — which is to say, topless. (If you can't rock your birthday suit on your birthday, when can you do it?)
The picture shows a smiling Handler rubbing her bare breasts in Cummings' face. "Happy birthday to the always elegant @chelseahandler," the caption reads. "This is 40."
The Chelsea Lately alum's penchant for toplessness is well-documented. Ever since Instagram took down a photo of her bare-chested and riding a horse, a la Vladimir Putin, she's been on a mission to show off the girls at every opportunity. (One recent shot even featured her topless on the side of a snowy mountain.)
"Now I'm just in a war with Instagram trying to keep my topless photos on it," she told Elle in a recent interview. "Because I don't understand why nipples are nudity. Who cares? Men can show their nipples, but if we have breasts we can't show them? And so if you're flat-chested are you allowed to show your nipples? Is that better? And can I show one nipple, but not two?"
She continued: "It's not a vagina. Yes, no one should show their vagina. But nipples? It's ridiculous. You obviously can't publish underage girls' photo, but I'm in charge of what I want to do with my own body."
In any case, Cummings wasn't the only one to wish Handler a happy birthday with some nudity. Fellow talk show host Ellen DeGeneres tweeted a GIF of the former late-night star naked and bouncing around in a shower, from their skit on the Chelsea Lately finale.
