The Modern Family star stepped out wearing a bold T-shirt that read, “Do My Nipples Offend You?” The 20-year-old actress wore the message on an outing with her boyfriend, Levi Meaden, in Studio City, California, on Tuesday, July 10.

The sitcom star’s message comes after her onscreen sister Sarah Hyland came to her defense following inappropriate comments that flooded Winter’s Instagram photo of herself pumping gas [with her arms crossed on June 24.

“To all the pervs commenting on this post? GET OFFLINE AND GET BACK TO YOUR BLOWUP DOLL YA CREEPS!” the 27-year-old actress wrote in response to comments about Winter’s “braless” look.

Winter exclusively opened up to Us Weekly in November 2017 about battling body shamers on social media.

“It was really disappointing that people would hate me so much for dressing how I wanted to,” she told Us at the time. “It’s difficult to not write something sassy, but I feel better when I write something positive. Maybe they’ll not write something hurtful next time.”

“I still get insecure all the time,” Winter admitted, noting that she deals with the backlash by repeating her personal mantra: “The only person that matters is yourself … If you’re happy, if you’re confident, that’s all that matters.”

While the ABC actress does not typically hold back when she confronts the trolls, Winter took a step back earlier this month due to the negativity.

“Ariel has taken a break from Twitter and engaging with commenters on her other platforms because of the constant negativity she experiences,” her representative told Us in a statement on July 6. “She needs a moment to breathe and enjoy herself without judgement.”
