John Cena

John Cena is a professional wrestler and actor. He was born in West Newbury, Massachusetts, and became passionate about sports and working out as a teenager. He attended Springfield College in Massachusetts and studied exercise physiology. He later moved to California after graduation to become a body builder.

Cena earned the Ultimate Pro Wrestling title in 2001, and one year later, he signed a contract with Ohio Valley Wrestling. He attained the OVM heavyweight title in February 2002 and made his WWE debut in June of that year. He brought home the United States Championship in March 2004 at Wrestlemania XX.

The athlete has also pursued a career in Hollywood, staring in action films including The Marine and 12 Rounds. He received praise for his comedic acting skills in 2015 when he stared in Amy Schumer’s comedy Trainwreck, and he returned to the big screen for 2018’s Blockers.

Cena married Elizabeth Huberdeau in July 2009, only to file for divorce in 2012. Later that year, he started seeing fellow wrestler Nikki Bella. The pair got engaged at Wrestlemania 33 in April 2017, but called it off in March 2018. Although they briefly reconciled two months later, they officially split in July.
