Jeremy Renner

Jeremy Renner is a highly accomplished actor, writer, and director known for his versatility and range in a diverse array of film genres. Born in Modesto, California Renner is the oldest of seven siblings.

Renner made his film debut in 1995, appearing in the comedy “National Lampoon’s Senior Trip.” However, it was his breakout role in 2002 “Dahmer” where Renner said he had a hard time coping with after. Since Dahmer,  Renner has appeared in “The Avengers,” “The Bourne Legacy,” “Arrival,” and “A Simple Favor.” He has also branched out into writing and directing, co-writing the screenplay for the 2014 film “American Hustle” and directing the 2016 film “Arrival.”

Renner has been nominated and won several awards, including a SAG Away for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

In his personal life, Renner has been in a relationship with actress Rashida Jones briefly in 1995, and later dated actresses Jen Macallan from 2005 to 2010. He married Sonni Pacheco less than a year after having their daughter Ava Berlin in 2014. They filed for divorce in 2015, making them married for 10 months. The reason for the split was stated as irreconcilable differences.

In early 2023, Renner was in a near death incident when he was trying to tow his nephews car out of his driveway that was stuck in snow. It wasn’t until the snowcat began sliding sideways that caused Renner to jump out of the snowcat and then noticed it was heading directly for his nephew. Renner tried to divert the snowcat by climbing onto its moving track and he was immediately tossed underneath the track and crushed. He had trouble breathing with the right side of his chest collapsed, his upper torso crushed and broke more than 30 bones. Luckily, he survived the incident, but is still in recovery.
