Jared Haibon

Before he joined Bachelor Nation, Jared Haibon was raised in Rhode Island and received his Associate’s degree from Community College of Rhode Island in 2009. He went on to become a restaurant manager.

However, his career shifted when he applied for The Bachelorette season 11, the first installment to feature two women, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson. Haibon didn’t find love at the mansion, so he continued his search on Bachelor in Paradise seasons 2 and 3.

He met Ashley Iaconetti on the spinoff in 2015 and famously rejected her multiple times in both seasons. They finally got together off-camera in May 2018.

The couple got engaged during a guest appearance on Bachelor in Paradise season 5 in June 2018. Haibon and Iaconetti tied the knot in August 2019 in the groom’s home state surrounded by many of their fellow Bachelor alums.

Haibon’s wife announced her pregnancy in July 2021, and the couple welcomed their first child, son Dawson, in January 2022.

Ahead of his son’s birth, Haibon returned to Rhode Island College, which he initially attended from 2009 to 2012. He dropped out with five classes left, so he returned to finish his Bachelor’s degree in history in 2021. Iaconetti told followers via Instagram at the time that her husband was receiving straight As.

The couple opened their cafe, Audrey’s Coffee Lounge, in December 2021.

Haibon also hosts a podcast, “Help! I Suck at Dating,” with Dean Unglert. His wife hosts “The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast,” with Ben Higgins.
