Blake Moynes

Now a seasoned reality star, Blake Moynes had an unprecedented rise to fame when he appeared on Clare Crawley, Tayshia Adams and Katie Thurston’s seasons of The Bachelorette in quick succession.

After Crawley left the show with Dale Moss, Moynes stayed on to try his luck at love with Adams. While the former phlebotomist sent him packing before hometown dates, Thurston invited him to stay on when he appeared partway through season 17.

Before his Bachelor Nation journey, Moynes dedicated most of his life to the great outdoors. He describes himself as a wildlife enthusiast and studied “every kind of wildlife management program” while he was in college. After graduation, he began working as a wildlife program manager. He runs an Instagram account, @mowglimoynes, dedicated to “supporting conservation professionals, organizations and initiatives” and prides himself on volunteering to help a different endangered species every year.

Moynes’ second shot at finding love with Thurston was successful and the pair got engaged during the August 2021 finale. However, they announced their split two months later.

After Thurston began seeing the Canada native’s fellow season 17 contestant John Hersey, Moynes accused his ex-fiancée of “emotional cheating” during a November 2021 episode of the “Talking It Out With the Bachelor Nation” podcast. Thurston and Hersey called it quits in June 2022. That summer, Moynes sparked romance rumors with Love Is Blind’s Natalie Lee after a trip to the Caribbean, but a source told Us Lee was simply interested in his “philanthropic work.”
