About

Born Andrew Eppley Shue in Wilmington, Delaware, in February 1967, the actor rose to fame as Billy Campbell on Melrose Place, a spinoff of Beverly Hills, 90210, which premiered on Fox in 1992. He remained on the Aaron Spelling drama for six seasons, dating his costar and onscreen love interest Courtney Thorne-Smith in the early 1990s.

In addition to acting, Shue played soccer in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League and returned to the sport for several games as part of the Los Angeles Galaxy in the 90s. He later shifted his career focus, founding the charity DoSomething and the website CafeMom with his best friend Michael Sanchez.

Shue married Jennifer Hageney in 1994, welcoming three sons — Nate (born in 1996), Aidan (born in 1999) and Wyatt (born in 2004). They split in 2008 and the following year, he met Amy Robach. They exchanged vows in 2010. Speculation about their marriage broke in November 2022 when the Good Morning America anchor was spotted with her colleague T.J. Holmes.
