Kevin Dickson

Kevin Dickson is an Australian/American pop culture afficionado and digital writer for US Weekly. After joining the weekly magazine industry covering the nascent reality TV genre in 2002, he traveled the world covering Survivor, was a guest judge on Paris Hilton Is My New BFF, coached contestants on The Swan how to not just say “oh my god” when they saw their new faces, and ghostwrote a book for Caroline Manzo. He also befriended a mousy wardrobe assistant named Kim Kardashian in 2005, gaining a front row seat to the golden days of celebrity, the Sunset Strip from 2008-2010. Taking a break from the weekly grind, Dickson turned his attention to novels. His first novel, Blind Item, written with publicist Jack Ketsoyan, was a dirty Hollywood romance full of actual celebrity gossip, and it made the LA Times bestseller list. After publishing a sequel, Guilty Pleasure, Dickson switched to “modern feminist romance horror”, focusing on his Vampire State series. The second book in the series, Seasons Of Blood, will release this summer. The first book, From Him To Eternity, is currently in development as a feature film.
