Whoa, mama! Carrie Underwood proved to her fans on Tuesday, Nov. 24, that she can seriously multitask by working out and using her baby son, Isaiah, as a set of weights.
“Sometimes we just have to make it work!” the country superstar, 32, wrote on Instagram alongside a video clip of herself doing squats in the gym. In the clip, Underwood cradles her tiny tot, 8 months, in her arms, and uses baby Isaiah as a set of weights as she bobs up and down 13 times in a row in perfect form. “#StayThePath @caliabycarrie #workout #fitness #trainingwithbaby #fitmom.”
Following the arduous and adorable fitness session, Underwood posted another snap of her son playing with his mom’s face on the stretching mat. “When your post-workout stretch turns you into a human jungle gym…” Underwood captioned the picture. “#StayThePath @caliabycarrie #fitness #workout #fitmom #HealthyLifestyle.”
Underwood and her husband, hockey player Mike Fisher, welcomed their first child this past February. “He’s the sweetest and smiliest baby, I think, ever,” Underwood told Ellen DeGeneres last month. “So, that’s a blessing when you’re waking up at three o’clock in the morning. When he’s smiling at you, that makes it not so bad. He rarely cries.”
