Kim Kardashian doesn’t wash her hair daily — but it’s not because the new mom of two is time-strapped.
“Keeping your hair shiny and soft in the winter can be difficult!” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 35, says in a post on her website, KimKardashianWest.com. “I only shampoo it twice a week to prevent it from drying out.”
To keep her tresses soft and sleek, she opts for “hydrating at-home hair masks,” and even offered up her favorite ones — six products that range from $20 to $70. Her cheapest choice? Frederic Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Style Cream ($20, bloomingdales.com). The product that will cost you the most is Rodin Luxury Hair Oil. It will run you $70 at Barneys, and promises a blend of eight essentials oils that leaves lifeless, damaged hair “healthier, more lustrous and consistently residue-free.”
The mom of two likes to give her hair time off. In fact, she recently said she’d wear braids in her hair “for months” to give her locks a chance to rest from heat styling.
But Kardashian, who married Kanye West in 2014, recently ditched the plaited hairstyle in favor of flowing strands. “Back to reality,” she said in a braidless selfie via Instagram on Monday, January 11.
