No one can read a vicious line like Cersei Lannister! Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey visited Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, January 25, and put her chill-inducing delivery to the test.
“One of the great things that you do on Game of Thrones, your character Cersei, you say the meanest things in a very cool way. You insult the others, you actually threaten them,” Kimmel, 48, told Headey, 42. “This happens on The Bachelor, as well, with the women. I thought it would be fun if we put some of the real lines from the show this year in our teleprompter for you to read them in character.”
Headey was up for the challenge, grasping a goblet of wine and striking a domineering pose in the mood lighting.
“I don’t think there’s one girl here who’s competition,” she read, quoting one Bachelor hopeful fighting for Ben Higgins’ heart on season 20 of the ABC reality series. “I think I’m way prettier than everyone else.”
The two-time Emmy nominee didn’t stop there, reading from the prompter: “I think her boobs are fake, but it’s OK. Like, you can tell that they’re fake. And her breath is horrible. I wonder if they’ve kissed because I’m sure he smells what I smell.”
Watch the clip now to see some other zingers! Game of Thrones season 6 premieres on HBO on April 24, and The Bachelor airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. EST.
